PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE 

UBWA First Annual Convention — October 2026 Laurel, Maryland, USA Dear UBWA Family, Distinguished Patrons, Honored Guests, Friends, and Supporters, It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to the First Annual Convention of the Upper Banyang Women’s Association International (UBWA), taking place October 2–4, 2026, in Laurel, Maryland, USA. Following our successful launch, UBWA has continued to grow into a vibrant international sisterhood. Today, we proudly have members across the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Cameroon. Though separated by distance, we are united by our heritage, our sisterhood, and our shared commitment to uplifting women and children and building stronger communities. This historic convention is a celebration of how far we have come and an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us. I sincerely thank our Patrons, leaders, members, friends, and supporters whose dedication, sacrifices, and generosity have helped transform our vision into reality. As we gather in Maryland this October, let us celebrate our culture, renew our commitment to one another, and remain focused on making a meaningful difference in Upper Banyang, including our efforts toward clean water and electricity for our communities. As we move forward, may we continue to lead with unity, integrity, respect, transparency, and love. Our strength is found in working together, and our shared purpose must always remain greater than our differences. This first convention marks another important chapter in our journey. Together, we are stronger. Together, we are building a legacy for generations to come. May God bless UBWA, our members around the world, our families and supporters, and our beloved Upper Banyang community. Long Live UBWA International! Long Live Upper Banyang!
