The Upper Banyang Women Association (UBWA) was officially launched in Houston, Texas, from November 7th to 9th, 2025, marking a significant milestone in uniting women from Upper Banyang at home and across the diaspora.

The inaugural event brought together distinguished members, community leaders, and supporters for a memorable celebration of unity, cultural heritage, and shared vision. The launch featured cultural showcases, networking sessions, and strategic discussions focused on community development, women’s empowerment, and strengthening connections within the global UBWA network.
